As our Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring product and process compliance with applicable cosmetic regulations and internal quality standards. The position focuses on regulatory compliance (including compliance with ISO 22716 and EU/FDA cosmetics regulations) and on driving continuous improvements across manufacturing and quality processes. The ideal candidate has experience in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical or food industry, has strong interpersonal skills and thrives in a fast-paced GMP environment.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Compliance

Work in close collaboration with production and quality control teams to ensure GMP compliance of products and processes (including compliance with ISO 22716, EC 1223/2009, 21 CFR Part 700).
Maintain and help improve the site’s Quality Management System in line with regulatory updates and industry best practice standards.
Conduct internal audits. Support preparations for and participate in customer and regulatory audits.

- Non-Conformance & Change Management

Manage non-conformances relating to products, to processes and to customer complaints. Lead root cause investigations using DMAIC tools ([contenuto eliminato] 5 Whys, Fishbone). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Analyze trends in non-conformances to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate and manage product-related change control activities. Collaborate with operational areas to implement approved changes.

- Documentation & Training

Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with regulatory standards.
Review and update production and quality control documents (Master Batch Records, Standard Operating Procedures, Forms etc.) to reflect the industry’s best practices and regulatory updates. Manage the document control process.
Ensure training compliance of operational teams. Provide regular training on GMP and focused quality topics, verifying training effectiveness.


WHO YOU ARE

2-3 years’ working experience in quality assurance or quality control in the cosmetic, food or pharmaceutical industry.
Scientific background, preferably a master’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry or other life sciences.
Strong knowledge of ISO 22716, cosmetic GMP and applicable international cosmetic regulations.
Experience with risk assessments, non-conformance, CAPA and change control processes.
Fluent in Italian and advanced English language skills
Attention to detail and data driven with a focus on problem solving.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in cross-functional teams.
