DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generali Group is offering a position within the Stochastic Scenario Modelling team representing the Provider of economic stochastic scenarios for all the Business Units related to all the Generali Group market consistent/real world valuations for Technical Provision and Risk Capital Calculation. In particular the main goals of the position are:

• Calibrate and generate stochastic scenarios for different purposes and valuations like Solvency II, Standard Formula, Economic Balance Sheet, New Business Value, Liability Adequacy Test, Swiss Solvency Test, Packaged Retail Investment and Insurance-based investments Products
• Assure the required quality of the stochastic scenarios in terms of risk neutrality and market consistency within each valuation
• Analyse ESG tool supporting overall developments with quantitative testing and documentation
• Keep abreast of latest industry/regulatory developments and best practice on ESG in order to identify and implement future developments across the whole Generali Group
• Support and train Local Business Units team on ESG technicality.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Must have
• Degree in Financial Mathematics, Economics or Statistics
• Knowledge of Fixed Income markets
• Strong quantitative skills
• Strong knowledge of IT tools: MS Excel/VBA/R
• Ability to build relationship with many stakeholders
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Nice to have
• Experience in financial sector
• IT Tools: C++/C#/Python
• Financial Info Provider: Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters
• Moody’s Analytics ESG software: ESG and/or Risk Integrity Proxy Generator
