DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.

The Business Accelerator unit, directly reporting to the Group Strategy & Business Accelerator Director, is responsible for:
• Accelerating the implementation of Group strategic initiatives (both at Business Unit and Group level)
• Coordinating and monitoring execution of Group priority projects
• Acting as an incubator for Group talents

Business Accelerator Project Manager main tasks are:
• Support internal stakeholder in defining projects scope and objectives
• Coordinate project teams, including both internal resources and third parties/vendors, to accelerate the execution of Group strategic initiatives both at Business Unit and Group level
• Provide support to Group projects through:
• Content rich program and project management;
• Ad-hoc competitive intelligence (e.g. specific benchmarking analysis);
• Collection, analysis and interpretation of data and statistics;
• Preparation of executive reports/ documents;
• Develop a detailed project plan to track project progress;
• Measure project performance using appropriate Key Performance Indicators;
• Report and escalate to Group senior management as needed;
• Develop and maintain a repository of knowledge to be leveraged across all projects

REQUIRED SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Must have
• Excellent educational background, preferably in the fields of business management or engineering
• At least 5 years experience working in consulting and/or as an insurance professional
• Previous experience in project management as well as in preparing and delivering management documents and presentations
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex problems; ability to develop creative and structured solutions
• Strong leadership, teamwork and people management skills
• High level of personal initiative, drive, motivation and commitment
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Capacity to influence stakeholders using business acumen
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong familiarity with office automation tools, especially Microsoft Office

Nice to have
• MBA degree or other internationally recognized post graduate degree
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Italian
