Banca Generali (www.bancagenerali.com), the leading private bank in Italy for client financial planning and wealth management through a network of private Financial Advisors at the top of their field in terms of expertise and professionalism, is looking for a Legal Specialist to be introduced in Milan office, inside General Counsel Area.
Job Purpose/Role
As part of the Legal Department based in Milan, the legal counsel will provide advice across a wide range of activities related to financial transactions to be entered by the Bank, with a specific focus on negotiation and drafting of:
• distribution agreements (e.g. MDA related to certificates and placement of UCITS or AIFs) and cooperation/partnership program agreements
• ISDA, CSA, CDEA and derivative transactions
• investment management agreements (e.g. related to unit-linked and hybrid products)
• subscription and dealer agreements (e.g. within EMTN programme)
• transaction documents related to securitizations
Key responsibilities
• provide legal advice in the field of financial services and negotiate legal aspects of investment undertaken by the Bank
• follow-up and monitor Italian and EU laws and regulations with a specific focus on MiFID II, AIFMD, BMR and legal framework of sustainable investments
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Key requirements
• university degree in Law
• minimum 2 years’ experience in a bank/investment firm or leading law firm
• excellent command of written and spoken English
