DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Banca Generali (www.bancagenerali.com), the leading private bank in Italy for client financial planning and wealth management through a network of private Financial Advisors at the top of their field in terms of expertise and professionalism, is looking for a Trader to be introduced in Milan office inside the Capital Markets department:
• Carries out trading of cash and derivatives products on behalf of retail and institutional customers.
• Provides the clients with the access to primary market offerings (equity, fixed income and structured products).
• Liaise with other departments of the bank and provides operational support.
In particular, the trading support team provides analyses and support to financial planners with a focus on fixed income and structured products, monitoring liquidity conditions and other metrics relevant to achieve best execution. Also, the team manages the participation of clients to primary market offerings, liaising with bookrunners and the syndicate through all the stages of the deal.
Internally, the team contributes to the development of analytic tools and produces periodic reports to the top management of the bank.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Key skills and experience:
• University degree in finance, economics or similar quantitative discipline.
• At least 5 years of trading experience in Fixed income, equities or derivatives.
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Knowledge of financial markets with a particular focus on derivatives instruments and structured products (pricing, trading, risk measurement).
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg and Tradeweb.
• Strong team player able to perform in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to solve complex problems and to liaise with clients and with other departments within the bank.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
Desirable:
• CFA designation or progress toward it.
• Programming skills in one of the following: VBA
